Berkowitz sold to Aust.
Special correspondent Dunedin The handy galloper, Berkowitz, has been sold to Australia and he will leave for Melbourne at the first opportunity. Berkowitz has won six races for Arthur Didham, jun., his Wingatui trainer, and Kelvin Bird, of Mosgiel. He dead-heated for firsts in maiden race at Cromwell and in a highweight at Riccarton last month. He also won highweights at Oamaru and Omakau, a 2400 m race at Wingatui and the Publican’s Cup at Beaumont.
