Prices for medium and strong Halfbred and Corriedale fleece rose 7.5 to 10 per cent at yesterday’s Christchurch wool sale. A small number of Canterbury and
Marlborough Merino fleece lots also sold well. The bulk of the 27,600-bale offering was crossbred, secondshear, and lambs’ wool. Full report, page 6.
