Airline talks
PA Auckland Five Air New Zealand cabin crew who asserted that they were too tired to man a Los Angeles-Honolulu flight last Sunday were interviewed by airline officials in Auckland yesterday. Interviews are expected to continue today, but last
evening neither the company nor the cabin crews’ union, the Airline Stewards and Hostesses’ Union, would discuss the matter.
The airline’s public affairs manager, Mr Bob Wallace, said the company regarded the issue as an internal one and had no comment at present.
