Rewi Alley ill
NZPA staff correspondent Hong Kong The New Zealander, Rewi Alley, who has lived in China for more than 50 years, has been in hospital after a mild heart attack, a businessman who has just returned from China has told NZPA. But the businessman, Mr Victor Percival, of Auckland, said Mr Alley had been looking quite well and had expected to come out of hospital this week. Mr Alley had been in hospital last month for pneumonia but had suffered the mild heart attack on his return home and had gone back into hospital in Peking.
