Lawyer corrects report
PA Auckland An Auckland lawyer, Mr E. P. Leary, said last evening that the Auckland District Law Society had made certain allegations of professional misconduct against him.
He said, however, that the allegations were not related
to the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the “Mr Asia” drug ring as had been claimed in a television item last evening. “If anybody wishes to fairly investigate me they are welcome to do so,” said Mr Leary. He declined to elaborate.
