The sales manager, Mrs Judith Smith, and Mr Grahame Sanders, the shies consultant, have their headquarters in the two-storeyed Attic Omihi De luxe display home at McLeans Island. The village is staffed and open to the public from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on week days, from 10 until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Plans, construction details and price lists for all 25 Canterbury Cottage designs are available at the village and Judith and Grahame can also advise on customers’ own preferences and requirements. As part of the total service offered by the Canterbury Cottage Co. the staff can halp customers to find a suitable site for building, negotiate with local bodies on a customer’s behalf and help to arrange suitable finance to make the purchase and erection of a cottage as simple and straightforward as possible.
