Styled to suit every need
From the early days, seven years ago, when the Canterbury Cottage Co. offered a range of four basic designs, the company has expanded to the extent that now there are 25 different plans and a huge range of custom-designed variations.
Styles of architecture range from colonial to ultra-modern and the size of the homes varies from compact one-person units to spacious, luxurious family homes.
One of the great advantages of Canterbury Cottages is that most can be transported, fully constructed if required, to locations anywhere in the city, suburbs or rural districts to provide immediate, high quality accommodation on a permanent or temporary basis.
Two views of the Canterbury Cottage Company’s best-selling home unit — the Granny Cabin. In 44 square metres of floor area, the single-person units offer all the comfort and independence of a full-sized house. In a choice of colonial or modern designs, and in a variety of sizes, the Granny Cabins can be decorated to suit the personality and possessions of the resident.
