Youth Band for Aust.
The National Youth Band will tour Australia in August and September, giving concert and marching performances.
The band of 50 players under the age of 22, will tour New South Wales and Queensland. It will prepare for the two-week tour in Nelson, after the Shell New Zealand brass band championships next month. A recording will be released to coincide with the tour, and when the band returns from Australia it will give two or three concerts in New Zealand.
