Saturn has outer ring —claim
NZPA-AFP New Delhi Three Indian scientists claim to have discovered an outer ring around Saturn, the Press Trust of India reports. The scientists — R. Vasundara, P. Santhana, and Rozario — are attached to the Indian Institute of Astrophysics at Bangalore. They made the discovery while observing an occultation.
A spokesman for the institute said the telescope used by the two scientists was the same used in discovering rings around Uranus seven years ago.
