Chinese wine a success

NZPA-AP Peking Dynasty, a semi-dry white wine combining French expertise with Chinese grapes, has proved such a success that production will increase 33 per cent this year. The joint Sino-French Wine Corporation has announced that it will produce 400,000 bottles of the increasingly popular wine, up from 300,000 last year. The corporation was established in 1980 by Remy Martin of France and the Tianjin vineyard of northeast China.
