Property issue actively traded
A large number of issues changed hands in firm, active trading on the New Zealand Stock Exchange yesterday. A special sale of 1.5 million Williams Property shares changed hands at 100 c, compared with the market price of 120 c. The NZUC industrial index firmed 0.31 points to 1258.15. Some second-line issues rose sharply, including Colonial Motor, Dunlop New Zealand, Mogal Corporation, and Revertex. The DIC fell 5c to 165 c in reaction to its take-over bid for George Court and Sons. George Court was untraded.
