Liquid filtration system
Wayne McCrone (left) holds the smaller of two examples of the GAF filter bag system for liquid filtration distributed by Don Hall Machinery.
The bigger unit is surrounded by various sized filter bags. The closed system consists of three basic
components: the Snap-Ring filter bag, a restrainer basket and a pressure vessel.
This type of filtration (from inside to outside) involves collection of residue within the bag so that clean liquid leaves the vessel through an outlet, usually at the base.
