New man for Alexis
Michael Nader, who appears in “Dynasty” on One tonight, will become Alexis Colby’s new beau, TVNZ
says. Nader plays the role of Farnsworth (Dex) Dexter, the sharp-minded son of an important board member. "Dynasty” fans who are intrigued by the new development in Alexis’ love life should be interested to know that Alexis (Joan Collins) and Dex appear in an up-coming scene that has been described as “the steamiest love scene ever seen on television,” says TVNZ.
In the series, Alexis and her new beau are meant to be all alone for their romantic interlude — but on
the set things could not have been more crowded. A huge crew, including technicians, make-up experts and lighting men, looked on as filming began.
The scene, which takes place in a hot tub, took about 45 minutes to shoot. A mishap with the bubbles caused a delay, but the stars took the setback in their stride.
Nader was content to stay in the tub during the breaks in shooting, but Joan Collins, who was dressed in a flesh-coloured body stocking, preferred to climb out of the jacuzzi whenever she had the chance. She said that the heat was not good for her skin.
