TV gives $l0,000
The local television news programme, “The Mainland Touch,” will make a $lO,OOO donation to Outward Bound. The money was raised at the end of last year through the sale of recipe books, “The Great T.M.T. Cake Bake.” Recipes contributed by viewers and well-known personalities were in the
book. The donation will be used to buy audio-visual equipment for the Outward Bound Trust and to sponsor four Canterbury young people to Outward Bound. The equipment will be handed to Mr Bob McKerrow, of Outward Bound, on this evening’s programme.
