Leeds in semi-finals
Leeds reached the semifinals of the British rugby league Challenge Cup competition when it beat Bradford Northern, 12-10, in their quarter-final replay The four surviving clubs have a total of seven New Zealanders on their playing staffs.'
The draw for the semifinals, with the clubs’ New Zealand members in parentheses, is:
Wigan (Graeme West, Howie Tamati, Danny Campbell) v. York (Richard Bristow), •on March 24; Leeds (Dean Bell, Trevor Clark) v. Widnes (Kevin Tamati) on March 31.
