Schools’ regatta finishes close
The record entry of 18 schools and the number of very close finishes were features of the South Island secondary schools’ rowing regatta which finished at Kerrs Reach on Saturday. Among those entered were small schools such as Buller High School and Twizel High School. All the boys’ eights’ races were won by Christ’s College crews, while Kaikorai Valley High School was prominent in the girls’ events.
