Bowls election
The president of the Christchurch Bowling Centre, Mr Ken Perry, gained another post this week when the centre elected him to the council of the New Zealand Bowling Association. He will join the three sitting Christchurch council-
lors, Messrs Bill Cole, Arch Murray and Peter Rose, who were all re-elected, and replace Mr Arnold Memory, who did not stand this time. The one unsuccessful nomination was the immediate past-president of the centre, Mr Bill Bodger.
