Mother freed
A pregnant West German and her infant son are recovering in an Addis Ababa hospital after being released from four weeks of captivity in the hands of southern Sudanese rebels. Ursula Morson and her 18-month-old son, Lloyd, were handed over to the Ethiopian authorities by their captors on the border with Sudan. Her Kenyan husband, Gwynne, is still being held by the guerrillas, together with two French engineers and one British technician. The rebels say that they will not be released until conditions as yet undisclosed are met. — Addis Ababa.
