GENERAL — Responsible to the Chief Forestry Officer through the Regional Forest Officer, Asau, for vehicle and tool maintenance and training of counterpart staff at the project. SPECIFIC: 1. Service, repair and maintain in good running condition all vehicles, pumps and all other items of equipment used at the project. 2. Provide supervision and guidance to local powersaw maintenance staff. 3. Provide guidance and Instruction in vehicle maintenance and in simple repair work for petrol and diesel-engined vehicles and machinery. 4. Undertake such other mechanical workshop repair and servicing duties as may be required. QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must have attained an advanced Trade Certificate in Automotive Engineering and had experience in the maintenance and reapir of diesel and petrol-engined vehclles, including trucks. Terms and Conditions of appointment, including salary, will be subject to negotiation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Airfares, transfer costs, location and child allowances (where applicable) will be paid. Appointment will be subject to medical clearance.
