Johnson, rider of Lady Sab in the First Star Belle; Maiden, was found guilty of. careless riding in that he; allowed his mount to shift, outwards in the run home; when not sufficiently clear. J Lady Sal, shifting out-’ wards, and Imperial Cloud,; which moved inwards,’ caused crowding to Katy; O’Neill and Abelour early in= the straight. J Johnson was suspended, for one riding day, but he is; permitted to fulfil his en-. gagements at Te Awamutu; today. ;
Lance O’Sullivan, rider of’ Imperial Cloud, was also; charged with careless rid-’ ing, but the charge was; dismissed.
