Boards change
Beginning on Tuesday the quotations boards of the Christchurch-Invercargill Stock Exchange will be rearranged into more convenient groupings for the call. The No. 1 Board, which now lists the shares of companies that are most frequently traded, together with their convertible securities, will be headed by the mining and oil shares. Next will come finance and property shares together
as a group, to be followed by the industrials.
The changes will be reflected in the lay-out of the quotations in “The Press,” beginning on Wednesday morning. The quotes will begin with the mining and oil shares as at present, to be followed by finance and property shares, with the industrials taking the rest of the first board. All convertible securities will be grouped together, and quoted next.
