Brierley Investments, Ltd, has further raised its holding in New Zealand News, Ltd, to 40 per cent with the purchase of 163,800 shares. The BIL holding in Welgas is now 48 per cent. It also announced purchase of 1,049,000 shares in Neil Holdings, Ltd, at $1.50 per share. This represents 9.5 per cent of issued capital and increases Brierley’s holding in Neil to 44.5 per cent.
