Australian races live on TV
Six races on the Australian autumn calendar will be covered live on TVI. TVNZ’s head of sport, Mr Keith McEwan, said direct broadcasts by satellite would be given of the following races: Canterbury Guineas (March 24), Rosehill Guineas (April 7), the Golden Slipper Stakes (April 14), the Doncaster Handicap (April 21), the AJC Derby (April 23), and the Sydney Cup (April 28). Exact times will be advised closer to the date.
