Spirituality week-end for women
Contact numbers for the women’s spirituality weekend to be held at the Meadowpark Motels this week-end are: Noreen, phone 371-062 or 790-784 and Sheila, phone 381-883. The week-end is being organised by an Alternative Spirituality Group, and will examine spiritual approaches that enhance and centre on women. The programme is flexible and is expected to develop according to participants’ interests. It includes a specially created ritual and the readings of Creation myths that emphasis women’s creativity. Cost for the full week-end is $lB, or $8 a night. The programme starts at 6.30 p.m. on Friday, with a potluck dinner, and concludes before lunch on Sunday. A creche may be set up if there is enough demand.
