Pharmacy burgled
Burglars broke open the front door of an Avonhead pharmacy before making off with drugs valued about $lOO on Monday night. Small quantities of methadeon, pethadine, and an opium derivative were
taken after a safe at Dale’s Pharmacy, Staveley Street, was forced open with a crowbar. The Christchurch police believe the front door of the pharmacy was broken open with a sledgehammer.
