P.O. charges to stay
PA Wellington Post Office charges were unlikely to rise “for some considerable time,” said the Postmaster-General, Mr Talbot, yesterday. Post Office charges had not risen since February, 1982, and since then the Post Office had remained in a sound position, Mr Talbot
said. “Changing market conditions, variations in product costs and the like will prob-, ably require charges for some services or items to be adjusted upwards or downwards from time to time, but certainly there will be no major increases across the board,” he said.
