WE are looking for mature persons aged between 25 and 55 for a part-time interviewing position with the Department’s on-going Household Survey. Ideally, the applicants will live In or around Chevlot-Cul-verden-Walau as the work Is concentrated In these areas. Approximately 30 hours per month are Involved, for one month out of every three. Although the hours are flexible the majority of the work is carried out in the evenings and week-ends. The position Is unsuitable for combining with a full-time job, or any sales work. Experience in social or market research is useful, but not essential, as full training will be given at a 5 day course to be held in Christchurch between May 14-18 inclusive. You would need a driver’s licence and the unrestricted use of a car, for which Public Service Mileage Rates will be paid.
