Public Notices CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY BY-LAW NO. 111 A (1984) - GLEAN AIR PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held in the Council Chamber, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, Christchurch 1, at 730 p.m. on Monday, the 20th day of February 1984, passed the following resolution: “That in pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Local Government Act 1974, the Clean Air Act 1972 and of all other powers it thereunto enabling the Christchurch City Council hereby makes and ordains the Christchurch City Bylaw No. 111 A (1984) - Clean Air.”
The object or purport of the By-law is to amend the fees payable for the licensing of industrial and trade combustion and other air polluting processes as defined in the Second Schedule of the Clean Air Act 1972. IT IS HEREBY FURTHER PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Civic Offices, situate as aforesaid, at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, the 19th day of March 1984, for confirmation by way of Special Order and that a full copy of the said Bylaw is deposited at the office of the Chief City Health Inspector, Civic Offices, and is now open to the inspection of the public, without fee, during office hours from 8.30 a.m. to 430 p.m. Monday to Friday.
ELDERLY PERSONS’ HOUSING LOAN On February 20, 1984, the Christchurch City Council passed a resolution to raise a loan of $310,500 for the purpose of erecting eighteen Elderly Persons' Housing units on the corner of Avalon and Perth Streets. The Council Intends to confirm this resolution by way of Special Order on March 19, 1984, at 730 p.m. In the Council Chamber, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, Christchurch. A full copy of the resolution is held at the office of the Deputy General Manager and City Treasurer, Civic Offices, and is now open to the inspection of the public, without fee, during office hours from 830 a.m. to 430 p.m. Monday to Friday. A poll of ratepayers is required to be taken, if not less than fifteen per cent (15 per cent) of the ratepayers of the City of Christchurch so demand in writing under their hands, delivered or sent by post to the Christchurch City Council and received at the offices of the Council, 163 Tuam Street, Christchurch 1 (P.O. Box 237), not later than 9 a.m. on Monday, March 19, 1984. THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY BY-LAW NO. 112 (1984) •- AIRPORT PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council, at an Ordinary Meeting held in the Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, Christchurch 1, at 730 p jn. on Monday, the 20th day of February, 1984, passed a resolution to make a By-law, the short title of which will be “The Christchurch City ByLaw No. 112 (1984) Airport.” The object or purport of the By-law is to make some minor amendments to existing bylaw provisions and provide new provisions concerning: (1) A metered parking area for motor vehicles. (2) Ground testing of aircraft engines. (3) The removal of refuelling equipment from the terminal area except when actually being used to refuel an aircraft IT IS HEREBY FURTHER PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held in the Civic Offices, situate as aforesaid, at 830 p.m. on Monday, the 19th day of March, 1984, for confirmation by way of Special Order and that a full copy of the said Bylaw is deposited at the Department of City Administration, Civic Offices, and is now open to the inspection of public, without fee, during office hours from 830 a.m. to 4.30 pin.
