Taxation Officer Grade 8 (Company Assessor — Field Auditor) Level 19 The appointee will prepare assessments of the more involved and complex company returns; | conduct audits of income tax returns lodged by companies; deal with all correspondence and interviews relating to companies. The applicant must possess experience in field audit and assessing all income tax returns I lodged by companies; some knowledge of and experience of taxation laws and practice; | accountancy or other appropriate qualifications desirable. ) Taxation Officer Grade 8 ' (Senior Assessor Individuals) ft Level 19 I The appointee will direct and control individual assessing operation in relation to the assessment of returns lodged by Partnerships, Trust, Primary producers, businesses, \ professions, investors, property owners and salary or wage earners; provide on the job I) training and performance counselling. f The position requires a person who has a thorough knowledge and wide experience in I taxation law and practice and proven supervisory ability; accountancy or other appropriate ft qualifications desirable.
