Fairy cake
Ingredients for cake: 1 cup sugar. Yi cup butter. 2 eggs. % cup milk 1% cups flour. 2 tsps baking powder. 1 tsp vanilla. Ingredients for jam frosting: 4 tbsps raspberry jam. 1 tsp water. 1 cup icing sugar. Method: 1. Cream sugar and butter in a bowL 2. Beat eggs, then add eggs and milk to butter mixture. 3. Sift flour and baking powder and add.
4. Add vanilla and bake in greased cake tin in moderate oven for 45 minutes. 5. When cool, frost with jam frosting. To make Jam frosting: 1. Put jam in basin on stove, and stir until jam is melted. 2. Add water and remove from stove. 3. Sift icing sugar and add to jam. 4. Beat hard and spread carefully on cake.
