Murder charge hearing opens in Blenheim
PA Blenheim Three Christchurch men appeared in the High Court in Blenheim yesterday charged with murder. Shane Shannon Hamilton, aged 25, a sickness beneficiary, James Kehu Wehi, aged 26, a contractor, and Reihana Chase, aged 29, a carpenter, pleaded not
guilty to the charge of murdering John Michael Little at Picton on August 26 last year. Chase and Wehi are charged alternatively with’ being accessories after the fact The trial is being heard before Mr Justice Eichelbaum and a jury of nine women and three men.
