NZFP capital rise
PA Auckland NZ Forest Products, Ltd, shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on March 26 will hear more about their company’s $ll6 million cash outlay to buy a 24.9 per cent stake in Wattie Industries and 7 per cent of Goodman Group. The notice of meeting says the purchase was, funded from previously arranged loan facilities. The meeting will consider resolutions increasing nominal capital from $l5O million to $3OO million, a split of shares to 50c units, provision to appoint two additional directors and an increase in directors’ fees, last set in 1981, from $lOO,OOO to $125,000.
