NZPA-AAP Sydney As part of the move to develop new directions for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, seven senior executive positions have been created with the corporation. A.B.C.’s managing director, Mr Geoffrey Whitehead, said the creation of the positions was part of the board’s drive to reorganise the A.B.C.’s system and “to
prepare for opportunities ahead.” The seven positions are: director television, director radio, director information services, director finance, director human resources, director engineering and property, and director of new business opportunities. The positions are being advertised in Australia, Britain and Canada and applications will close on March 23.
