Delivery on water
PA Auckland .The Auckland police launch Deodar became the delivery room for a leap year-baby boy when it made an emergency dash to Waiheke- Island yesterday. The launch was sent out at 3 a.m., but on the return journey was only half-way across Auckland Harbour when the baby was bom, at 5.10 am. Mother and child are now in National Women’s Hospital, Auckland.
