York to ride Fountaincourt
Special correspondent Auckland The Takanini jockey, Brian York, will be on Fountaincourt in the Avondale Classic on Saturday, standing in for the horse’s regular rider, Noel Harris. It will be York’s first
race ride on Fountaincourt. His very first experience of the horse was to be at Takanini today when he is to handle him in his training. York is also booked on Saturday for Jurange in the Vineyards Stakes.
