John Duttine stars as Garvin in a disturbing tale, “The Intercessor,” tonight’s story in the “Shades of Darkness" series on Two. Garvin, seeking solitude in which to research a book on county history, finds his work disturbed by the sound of a child crying. The play also stars David Hargreaves, Maggie Ford, Peter Hughes and Chrissie Cotteriil. “The Intercessor” was directed by Peter Smith, produced by June Wyndham-Davies, and the theme music was specially composed by Derek Hilton.
