Complaint over shorts
PA Auckland Women bus drivers who want to wear shorts to work have complained to the Human Rights Commission because the Auckland Regional Authority will not let them. But the women have asked the commission not to investigate their complaint until they have had a chance to meet the A.R.A.’s transport committee members next week. The women say A.R.A. skirts and long trousers are stifling in the summer heat and they should be allowed to wear shorts as do their male counterparts.
