Ban on I.R.A.
An Irish Government ban on meeting members of Sinn Fein, the political wing of the Irish Republican Anny guerrilla group, has come into force. The ban was initiated by the Labour Party, junior members of the ruling coalition, after the shooting of a soldier and a policeman by the I.RA. during the rescue of a kidnapped businessman. — Dublin.
