Water polo team named
PA Waiouru The New Zealand women's water polo team will contest the F.I.N.A. World Cup tournament in Los Angeles in July. The team of 11, which was named in Waiouru yesterday and will be captained by Wellington’s Rosemary Gibson, will compete in the lead-up week to tte Olympic Games. Thf team is Gibson, Ngaire Ashmore, Jackie Flynn, Alison
Langridge (all Wellington), Gillian Smeith (vice-captain), Debbi Sullings, Andrea McKendry, Chloe Garland, Robyn Crotty (Canterbury), Jollanda Court, Luana Court (Auckland). Non-travelling reserves: Sue Scobie (Wellington), VickyDunn, Jeanette Hume (Auckland). .The team will be coacheA by Ross Paton, of Auckland, and managed by Tim Nicholls, of Christchurch.
