A member of the Horticultural Society, Mr Ron Fowler, of Christchurch, with two of the prize-winning blooms at the Dahlia and Flowering Chrysanthemum Show at the Horticultural Hall yesterday. The collarette on the left, Glenmark, was grown by Mrs E. Luscombe, of West Melton. The giant semi-cactus bloom, Pink Jupiter, was grown by Mr Ron Luisetti, of Hoon Hay.
