Grand Prix races
The Formula I Constructors Association has announced that 946,194,000 viewers watched Grand Prix motor racing on television last year. There was a total of 49,976 minutes of Grand Prix racing telecasts, compared with 45,279 minutes in
Goodyear, the tyre manufacturer, also released some 1983 crowd statistics. An average of 86,333 people attended each Grand Prix race, to build a trackside total of 1,295,000 for the complete world championship series.
