High up on the Porter Heights ski-fields a helicopter helps lay the foundations for one of the six pylons of the new T-bar lift. Work is now well underway on the construction of the field's third Tbar, and 35 cu m of concrete has been poured for the foundations of the pylons and the drive and return stations. The T-bar, which is replacing the last rope tow at Porter Heights, will be ready for the 1984 ski season. It will eventually have a capacity of 1100 skiers an hour.
