N.C.F. skin payments
The chairman of the freezing works company N.C.F. Kaiapoi, Ltd, Mr E. V. Turrell, has announced a change to the company’s payments to farmers.
To encourage support of the farmer-owned works all stock processed at Kaiapoi through the skin pool will from Monday be paid for at full schedule for both meat and skins.
Previously an advance payment of 70 per cent was made for skins and the company now guarantees at least full schedule for skins.
