Pronunciation plea
Sir,—Before Mike Moore, M.P. for Papanui, gets too excited about Christchurch becoming the “capital of the Antarctic” I would suggest he at least gets the pronunciation right. On television on Thursday night he kept referring to the Antartic. You’re absolutely wrong, Mike — it is the Antarctic. — Yours, etc.,
