Kawarau reports
A number of research teams will be in the Kawarau area of Central Otago in the next few weeks doing work associated with hydro-electric power investigations of the Kawarau River. Reports will be prepared on fish life, biology, botany, insects, birds, and lizards in the area, according to the project information officer of the Clutha Valley Development, Mr Bruce Thompson.—(PA).
