Two drivers suspended
PA Dunedin Gary Shand and Russell Williams were suspended from race driving at the Forbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting on Saturday evening. Shand (Impresario) was stood down until February 15 for causing interference td Perfector’s Whisper with a resultant check to Prompt Date, which broke after 700 m in the Wallace Handicap. Williams (Lonesome Me) was found to have caused interference to Magic Bret, causing that horse to break after 700 m in the Inglis Handicap. He was suspended until February 25.
