Timothy Osborne, aged 12, of Christchurch, moulds a Formula One racing car from sand while Stuart Watson, aged 12, and Fraser Dodd, also aged 12, both of Christchurch, build the wall to the pits in the Radio Avon sand-castle competition at Spencer Park yesterday. About 500 people entered the contest. It was won by Gary Stowell, of Redwood, who built models of war equipment.
