On the Toe favoured at Tauranga

Special correspondent Auckland On the Toe should prove the hardest to beat in the Summer Handicap, the first leg of the T.A.B. double at the Bay of Plenty

Noble Navarre and Mutual are other form runners worthy of consideration. Mighty Louis, and a laststart winner, Mickolenne, make most appeal for the second leg, the Sheridan Handicap. A three-year-old colt, by Llewellyn, Mighty Louis has been lightly raced. He scored his first win at Avondale in November and that form was made to look good when the runner-up, Padraic, won so well during the DB Auckland Cup meeting. Selections I.
