Family baptised
NZPA-Reuter Madrid Three members of a French family who survived a Colombian jumbo jet crash last month were baptised yesterday by a Catholic priest who escaped unharmed from another air crash on Wednesday. Patrick Neger, a policeman, survived with his wife, Elizabeth, daughter, Katy, and infant son, Ludovic, when the Avianca Boeing
747 crashed on its approach to Madrid airport on November 27. All but 12 of the 193 passengers aboard died. Patrick, aged 29, Elizabeth, aged 26, and Katy, aged three, were baptised in a Madrid clinic by Father Carlos Giacomuzzi, an Italian priest who survived when two .Spanish airliners collided at Madrid airport, killing 93 people.
