NZPA Sydney Prices rose strongly in extremely active trading on Australian sharemarkets yesterday. The all-ordinaries index closed 3.2 points higher at a, record 754.5. Brokers said the money generated by the Carlton and' United Breweries take-over was continuing to find its way back into the market and was providing strong support to the industrial sector.
